Tru-Swab
Technology is a superior feature of the MaxPlus Needleless
Connector. It describes the top surface, or access port which is disinfected
with an alcohol or chloraprep pad before being accessed for drug
administration or blood draw.
What this means to you : It's called Tru-Swab because
when swabbed it's flat, smooth surface gives the clinician the ability
to 'truly clean off' any bacteria that might be on the access port.
This surface always remains flat and smooth for easy, effective
swabbing.
